संसद का शीतकालीन सत्र शुरू, 89 मदों पर चर्चा होगी

संसद का शीतकालीन सत्र शुरू

संसद का शीतकालीन सत्र 2009 19 नवंबर, 2009 से आरंभ होना नियत है और सरकारी कार्य की आवश्यकता के अधीन रहते हुए यह सत्र 21 दिसंबर, 2009 को समाप्त होगा। सत्र के दौरान 33 दिनों की अवधि में कुल 23 बैठकें होंगी।

The Union Minister of Parliamentary Affairs and Water Resources, Shri Pawan Kumar Bansal informed  here today in a media briefing that the Winter Session, 2009 of Parliament would commence on November 19, 2009 and, subject to exigencies of Government business, the Session will conclude on December 21, 2009.  The Session will provide 23 sittings spread over a period of 33 days.

 

            The Session will mainly be devoted to essential Government legislative and other business, including financial business relating to Supplementary Demands for Grants for the year 2009-10 in respect of Railway, General Budgets and State Budget in respect of Jharkhand.

 

 To finalize the Government Business for Winter Session, 2009 of Parliament, Minister of Parliamentary Affairs took a meeting with Secretaries/Senior Officers of various Ministries/Departments on November 16, 2009.  Ministers of State in the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs co-chaired the meeting.  The following 89 items were identified for the Winter Session, 2009:-
